Mobile phone applications are now ubiquitous and as developers we need to ensure we don't miss the huge opportunities that are now available to us.
One of the simplest routes to targeting all mobile devices is HTML5, JQuery Mobile and PhoneGap. So we will start by taking a look at these technologies.
If you need to take advantage of phone features that aren't available from HTML then you will need become familiar with Java and Eclipse. So we will start by understanding the underlying architecture and lifecycle of the Android platform. We will then look at how we can target this platform using Java or C# with Mono for Android.
